Deconstruction - Layout, Design

Football Blog - 101 Great Goals

1 - title
2 - tabs to other parts of the blog
3 - social network sites links for debate and discussions
4 - links to other parts of the blog
5 - link widget
6 - debate and discussion widget
7 - video
8 - a series of videos

The 101 Great Goals blog is quite different from other blogs. Firstly there is minimal sign of content, instead a handful selection of videos to view. The tabs and widgets are spread out in a rather unorganised fashion. Perhaps it is suggestion that this blog can let viewers have a greater say in debates and discussions, compared to some of the other blogs. Furthermore the numerous amount of tabs implies that the blog has a lot to offer for everyone, and demonstrates the range and depth. Likewise there are quite a few advertisments displayed, which means that 101 Great Goals is popular to an extent, as many companies and businesses are investing revenue into it. Finally with the unorganised layout and design perspective of the blog, it may however depict the idea that football is sometimes an unorganised and confusing sport.
